Hector Amaro Zumbado is a multimedia specialist/producer and full-time student residing in Miami, Florida, and New York, New York. 

Currently, in his last semester at Florida International University, Hector Zumbado aims to graduate as an Honors College student with a 3.6 GPA and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communications. After graduation, Hector plans to continue his education at New York University as he pursues a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing.

While striving through his educational journey, Hector has been able to balance numerous work experiences, helping him gain real-world experience in the marketing, advertising, and media industries.

Hector serves as the lead multimedia producer at PantherNOW, Florida International University’s student-run newspaper. Through this role, Hector is in charge of a team of over 10 photographers that cover on-campus and out-campus athletic games. If one of his photographers is unable to cover a game due to scheduling issues, Hector will be first in line to capture the necessary content. Overseeing the publication’s photo archive while creating and managing daily social media content for PantherNOW’s social media platforms and keeping track of audience engagement is also part of Hector’s responsibilities.
